As a part of the internal Employee Communications & Engagement (ECE) team, my work involved producing content for emails, websites, and events that align with Intuitive’s brand mission. These key touch points reach over +5000 employees globally.
Intuitive Surgical is a company that specializes in the development and manufacturing of robotic surgical systems. The company is best known for its da Vinci Surgical System, which is a robotic surgical platform designed to facilitate complex surgeries using a minimally invasive approach.

Role: As a designer and Art director, collaborating with event planners and fabricators to design a dual-event experience for over 5000 employees per event. Responsibilities encompass the development of print and digital collateral tailored to complement the expansive layout of PayPal Park. Pre-event communications entail crafting RSVP emails and producing illustrations for Eventbrite.
Brondell is a home health brand focused on sustainability through innovative products such as bidets and filters/purifiers. Under the rebrand in 2021, our creative team completely updated the style and tone of all web, social media, and packaging designs. We were able to rebrand 20+ products for retail vendors like Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, and Walmart.

Role: As a production designer, I developed technical documents like User Manuals, Spec Sheets, and Quick Start Guides. Receiving templates, structures, and formatting from AD to configure media for the Flush category. Project iteration required several cross-functional teams like marketing and product design. The products are set to be on retail shelves soon!
Creating print media for exhibitions including labels, posters, and information cards. Knowledge of cutting vinyl and applying it.
Brondell’s rebrand presented a solution to elevate the previous visual library. This included illustration which had to remain fun but depicts scenes and moments that photography could not.

Role: As lead illustrator, my goal was to rebrand our entire illustration tone. An audit of all previous illustrations where updated to elevate our brand to a geometric flat style. Using brand color palettes to complement other visual assets. Giving our blogs a cohesive voice to give education about our technology while staying fun.

Design concepts for the product and packaging design for Codi mattresses. I helped with product design refinement and designed the straight-to-consumer packaging. Also communicated with China manufacturer to correct print issues and inconsistencies.

Omigo, which is a sub-brand of Brondell, is a bidet company aimed at a more fun and hip demographic. Utilizing quirky humor and engaging marketing, I worked with the Creative Director to update UI/UX elements on the homepage, giveaway page, and product pages.

Role: As a Web Designer, I defined to the front-end developer how to edit and re-arrange modules for MyOmigo.com. Mapping experience flow and responsiveness for different screen formats. Understanding technical constraints and creating ADA-compliant designs for optimal legibility.
From scratch, me and the developer redesigned the website for Starlite LED. I was a part of the full process from drawing mock-ups to coding parts of the interface.
With over 5000 employees, Intuitive Surgical required much educational internal content to communicate to all its global offices. Along with the Employee and Content Engagement (EC&E) team, I helped generate articles for cultural moments, Total reward benefits, and campus events.

Whenever I go to a music festival I'm always interested in the undercard performances that don't always get attention. As I was researching the backgrounds of all these amazing artist playing Coachella 2017, I thought illustrating them with a short article would be a great way to get their music and my art out there. It was super fun working on this project and definitely made my Coachella experience that much more memorable.

This project was a collaboration between me and my friend Sergio Aguilar. His book "Children of the Ceiba" is a magical book about Yucatan around the 1850's. I wanted to capture the mysticism as well as the darkness portrayed in the folklore narrative.
Branding and environmental graphic created for new Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Museum of Art in Davis. Work consist of way-finding signs to help visitors navigate museum and identity representing the artistic history of Davis.
